We are one of the fastest growing Home Care and NDIS Service Providers in Melbourne.

We are looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable support staff to join our team of support workers for our NDIS disability participants and Aged Care consumers. We are seeking support workers for both areas of disability support and it is important to note that we support the Melbourne Metropolitan area and Greater Melbourne Regions. At this time we have a strong need for additional support workers for the North Western suburbs such as Brimbank, Melton, Mooney Valley Region and Greater Melbourne areas.

We are working with a large number of participants within Victoria, and we are dedicated to providing a high-quality support experience with a company philosophy of, “We treat everyone as if they are part of our family, both those we support and our workers”. We are well established and use the latest quality systems to ensure the integrity of our service and workers. We are looking to be around for the long term.

Key information about us:

  1. We use the latest Customer Relationship Management software and have a mobile phone rostering system that provides our workers with key participant information including GPS locations.
  2. We operate with integrity and have passed NDIS Quality Standards audit demonstrating our compliance and quality of service delivery.
  3. We provide a wide range of NDIS and Aged Care service categories including Allied health services, Support Coordination and Plan Management.
  4. We provide comprehensive induction and training support for our staff.

About the Role/roles

  • We are seeking support workers for both the Disability Support Worker role and the Aged Care worker role.
  • These support roles will support Disability participants and Aged Care consumers with community inclusion, improved independence and capability, assisted decision making and promote independent personal choice, with a focus on individual needs.
  • The support workers will also assist Disability participants and Aged Care consumers to engage and access community groups and recreational activities to provide a positive impact on their wellbeing and engagement with the community.

Tasks & responsibilities

The support workers will provide care and support to participants in line with the individual care plans, tasks including:

  • Personal care
  • Domestic assistance (Light cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping the floor, washing and hanging up the clothes, cleaning dishes, placing rubbish into bins when needed, or requested)
  • Respite care support
  • Social activities and group activity support
  • Transport of participant to engage community
  • Meal preparation assistance
  • Group participation support
  • Life skills development

Qualifications & experience

We require certain qualifications for our workers to ensure compliance with Quality Standards.

For Disability Support worker we require:

  • Identification validation checks
    • Current Driver’s License
    • Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
    • NDIS worker screening check ( Not on Disability Worker Exclusion list)
    • Criminal Record Check
    • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
    • Current Working with Children Card (WWCC) for Employee
  • Working requirements
    • Completed NDIS orientation module
    • Infection control training (COVID 19 management)
    • Smart phone (Android, Google or iPhone)
  • Additionally,  Aged Care qualification requirement:
    • Cert III Individual Support in ( Aged Care, Mental Health, Community Services, Disability Work or similar.)
